苏州大学特聘教授、博士生导师。获美国印第安纳大学博士学位。曾任罗格斯大学副教授、山东大学教授、实验畸形学教育部重点实验室主任等职。现任Cell Death Discovery、Frontiers in Oncology副主编,Mutation Res、Aging and Cancer Research & Treatment等杂志编委。承担过多项国家自然科学基金和科技部课题。累计发表SCI论文170余篇， 引用超过20，000次 （Google Scholar）。以通讯作者在Aging Cell、Cancer Res、Cell Mol Immunol、Hepatol、J Cell Biol、 Mol Ther、Nature Genet、Nature Commun、Oncogene、Redox Biol等杂志发表SCI论文60余篇。
